Overview Step into a leadership role as a Nurse Director of Labor & Delivery in Northwest Oklahoma, where you will energize maternal‑newborn care and lead a high‑performance Birthplace unit that is recognized for safety, exceptional patient experience, and regional expertise. The Nurse Director will work with a multidisciplinary team—including obstetric physicians, nurse‑midwives, anesthesiology, pediatrics/neonatology, lactation consultants, case managers, pharmacy, and social work—to deliver compassionate, family‑centered care across obstetric services, birthing, triage, antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn areas. Responsibilities Lead managers, educators, and charge RNs and partner with clinical stakeholders to implement strategy, staffing, budgeting, and quality initiatives. Ensure readiness for regulatory compliance, quality and safety programs, and perinatal safety drills. Set and maintain fetal monitoring and throughput standards, optimizing labor‑delivery processes and operating‑room access for cesarean deliveries. Mentor and support a diverse, highly skilled interdisciplinary team that values inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Champion high standards and seamless patient flow within the Birthplace Center.
