Avenues Recovery Center on the Eastern Shore is now hiring RNs and LPNs for evening and overnight shifts. Avenues Recovery Center is seeking compassionate and dependable nurses to join our team in Cambridge, MD. Whether you're experienced in behavioral health, detox, med-surg, corrections, LTC, or simply looking for more meaningful patient care, we welcome your application.

At Avenues, nurses play a vital role in helping individuals begin recovery in a safe, supportive, and highly structured medical environment.

What You'll Do

• Provide quality medical care for each client throughout admission, treatment and discharge
• Coordinate all pharmacy and prescription needs, dispense medication, and keep clear med logs
• Collaborate with extended medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure total coordination of care
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation, tracking and reporting for each client
• Provide patient education in individual and group settings

What We're Looking For

• Minimum one year diploma program post-high school
• Current RN or LPN licensure necessary to practice in-state, or compact licensure with multistate privileges
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented, efficient worker with ability to multitask
• Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles
