Radiology Technician

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare examination rooms for patient examinations
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images
- Position patients and equipment, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort
- Enter commands and data into the computer to document and specify scan sequences; monitor video display to adjust density/contrast
- Monitor patients during examinations, ensuring safety and preventing unnecessary radiation exposure
- Produce diagnostic images, report important information to the physician, and update patient records
- Organize daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitor radiographic supplies
- Perform administrative tasks: answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice
- Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment
Experience Required
- 1 year of relevant experience

- Diagnostic radiology imaging
- Radiopharmaceutical administration
- Patient positioning and procedure explanation
- Radiation safety monitoring
- Equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
