Auto Body Paint PrepperBremerton Collision Center is currently hiring an experienced and detail-oriented Auto Body Paint Prepper to join our team. The Auto Body Paint Prepper is responsible for preparing vehicle surfaces for painting by performing tasks such as sanding, priming, and masking. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Sand vehicle surfaces using sandpaper, grinders, or other tools to create a smooth surface for paintingApply masking tape and paper to protect areas of the vehicle that will not be paintedClean and prepare surfaces for painting by removing dirt, debris, and imperfectionsAssist in mixing paint and primers according to manufacturer specificationsAssist in operating and maintaining painting equipment and toolsCollaborate with the painting team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality workFollow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work areaPerform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or managerRequirements:Previous experience as an Auto Body Paint Prepper or in a similar roleKnowledge of different types of sanding and masking techniquesFamiliarity with automotive paints, primers, and painting equipmentStrong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality workAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong time management skills and the ability to work efficientlyPhysical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work in a fast-paced environmentValid driver's license
