Our client, an internationally recognized AmLaw firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support one of the nation's premier Supreme Court & Appellate Practices. This highly visible role offers the opportunity to work directly with elite appellate advocates on matters that shape legal precedent before the United States Supreme Court, federal appellate courts, and state appellate courts. You\'ll become an integral member of an elite appellate team, supporting every phase of sophisticated appeals and high-stakes litigation. Responsibilities include: Support complex litigation from trial through appeal. Assist with matters before the United States Supreme Court, federal appellate courts, and state appellate courts. Prepare, proofread, and coordinate filing of briefs, joint appendices, record excerpts, and appellate submissions. Perform expert-level Bluebook cite checking and legal proofreading. Verify record citations, quotations, and legal authorities with exceptional accuracy. Research procedural and substantive issues using Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, and CM/ECF. Prepare Tables of Authorities and Tables of Contents. Coordinate electronic filings and ensure compliance with jurisdiction-specific court rules. Organize appellate records, trial transcripts, and supporting documentation. Assist attorneys in preparing for oral arguments, moot courts, and appellate presentations. Draft and distribute summaries of significant appellate decisions and Supreme Court opinions. Manage complex deadlines across multiple appellate matters simultaneously. Ideal candidates will have: 7+ years of litigation paralegal experience within a medium or large law firm. Significant experience supporting Supreme Court, Appellate, or sophisticated Federal Appellate litigation. Candidates with outstanding federal appellate experience will also be considered. Exceptional legal writing, proofreading, and analytical abilities. Advanced proficiency with Bluebook citation rules. Strong research skills using Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, and related litigation technology. Experience with complex brief preparation and appellate filings. Outstanding organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail. A bachelor\'s degree is required. Bonus Qualifications ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate Experience with Relativity, Case Notebook, or other eDiscovery platforms Advanced academic background in fields emphasizing research and writing (Law, Journalism, English, Public Policy, etc.) #J-18808-Ljbffr
