Registered Nurse (RN) - Bone Marrow Transplant

Schedule
12-hour day/night rotating schedule possible; weekend coverage variable based on unit needs.
Assignment Details
Daily census of approximately 33 patients with a total of 36 beds/rooms.
Requirements
- Chemo certification (ONS) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of medical-surgical and inpatient hematology-oncology experience within the last 3 years, with at least 1 year of current specialty experience required for clinical pass.
- Valid RN license in hand at time of submission.
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and central line care.
- Proficiency in administration of chemotherapy and blood products.
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care for adults and geriatrics with hematology and oncology diagnoses, including stem cell transplants and CAR-T therapy.
- Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias.
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed.
- Manage central lines and sterile dressing changes, including central line blood draws.
- Support patients with feeding tubes and oxygen therapy as needed.
- Recognize and manage symptoms of graft rejection and infections.
