Registered Nurse (RN) - Mother/BabyWe are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Mother/Baby care to join our team. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care to mothers and their newborns during postpartum recovery. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional clinical skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide nursing care to mothers and newborns, ensuring safety and comfort.Perform assessments and develop care plans tailored to individual patient needs.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.Educate parents on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support maternal and infant health.Monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being, addressing concerns as they arise.Document nursing activities and patient progress accurately in electronic health records.QualificationsCurrent and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a Mother/Baby unit preferred.Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.Excellent communication and patient interaction skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.ScheduleThis position typically follows a night shift schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM.LocationThis position is based in Plano, TX.Application ProcessIf you are a compassionate and dedicated RN looking to make a difference in the lives of mothers and their babies, we encourage you to apply.
