Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides bedside care in a critical care setting on a per diem basis, ensuring patient stability and safety. This role involves working 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced ICU environment, requiring flexibility and adherence to compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care to ICU patients, monitoring vital signs and responding to changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient status and interventions.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and institutional policies.
• Complete full compliance profile within two weeks of start date.

Qualifications:

• Valid registered nurse license in the state of employment.
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and adapt to a flexible schedule.
• Strong clinical skills in critical care nursing.
• Demonstrate excellent patient communication and teamwork abilities.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
