Contract | Night Shift | Onsite | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to normal and high-risk laboring patients, antepartum patients, and couplet care assignments in a Level 3 high-risk facility delivering approximately 250 births per month
• Perform vaginal exams, internal monitor placement, and independently manage high-risk labor and delivery patients
• Circulate and recover C-section patients in one of two on-unit OR suites
• Titrate drips including Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin per protocol
• Read and interpret fetal monitor strips independently using the facility's EFM system
• Float to postpartum and other units as needed based on census and staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Nevada or compact eligibility
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM) certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage high-risk laboring and antepartum patients, including drip titration and fetal strip interpretation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience circulating and recovering C-section patients
• Familiarity with Cerner EFM documentation systems
• Experience in a high-volume or high-acuity Labor and Delivery setting
