Location: 325 W Main St, STE 1500, Louisville, KY 40202

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time, Seasonal Contract (September 14 – January)

Shift: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

No pharmacy technician license yet? We will help you get certified! If you have a background in healthcare, medical records, or data entry, we will guide you through the certification process so you can get started quickly.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Verify incoming prescription details prior to processing (prescriber, patient info, medication, dosage, quantity, refills, lot, and expiration dates).
• Evaluate completed prescriptions and authorizations to ensure compliance with standards, local/federal laws, and HIPAA privacy guidelines.
• Check patient histories for duplicate orders and execute proper resolution procedures.
• Follow up on outstanding prescriptions, resolve order delays, and communicate discrepancies to pharmacists.
• Maintain complete prescription logs, related files, and an orderly work environment.
• Collaborate across pharmacy teams to support overall patient care and medication compliance.
