Make a difference in students’ lives by stepping into an engaging school-based Social Worker contract opportunity in Connecticut for the upcoming academic year! Two full-time positions are available, each tailored to provide support in dynamic educational environments—one serving high schoolers and the other focused on elementary-aged children. Both roles are entirely onsite with a schedule of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Key Qualifications:

• Active licensure/certification from Connecticut DPH and CT (071) required
• Demonstrated experience in school settings is essential
• Confidence in managing short-term assignments and transitions
• Capacity to primarily conduct student evaluations and assessments
• Comfortable working full-time onsite; virtual work is not available
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive social work services to students, including counseling, crisis intervention, and case management
• Conduct individual and group evaluations to identify students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Develop and implement appropriate intervention and support plans
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school leadership to foster students’ academic and personal growth
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation according to school and professional guidelines
