About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, BSA to oversee its BSA/Fraud functions and ensure strict compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the fraud team, providing strategic recommendations for fraud mitigation, and serving as the primary contact for consumer affairs. This role also involves being an administrator for BSA/AML and fraud software tools, conducting risk assessments, and leading staff and company-wide training on related policies and procedures. Applicants must have a minimum of five years' experience in a similar role within a financial institution, with a strong background in compliance, check holds, CTRs, and SARs. Experience in fraud investigation is preferred. A two-year college degree or specialized certification, along with a Certified Fraud Examiner Certificate, is required. The role demands exceptional communication and investigative skills, as well as the ability to interact effectively with auditors, examiners, and senior management. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing a team and be committed to the values of the company, which include a focus on community and member empowerment.
