Warehouse Associate DriverThe purpose of the Warehouse Associate Driver is to deliver product in a safe and timely manner and perform a variety of warehouse tasks efficiently, safely, and accurately to ensure customer service excellence.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Deliver specified product to various locations in a safe and efficient manner by driving short and long distances during the dayCoordinate with management to ensure safe and efficient delivery routesVerify with the customer at the time of delivery that the correct product was delivered in satisfactory conditionPerform loading and unloading of the truck as neededMaintain all required certifications required by DOT, OSHA, and company safety programsEnsure all required paperwork, including but not limited to shipping papers and Hazmat paperwork, is accurately completed and in possessionPerform pre- and post-trip truck inspectionsMaintain truck maintenance recordsNotify management of any safety issues with company vehiclesVerify, receive, and put away incoming stockPull, pack, stage, and ship outgoing orders and transfersAssist customers with orders, as neededAssist customers in processing returns of warranty items and stock itemsOperate handheld scanners to receive, move, and track inventory in and out of the facilityAssist management with inventory accuracy, including cycle counts and physical inventoryMaintain cleanliness of warehouse and common areas to ensure an orderly and safe work environmentParticipate in after-hours training classesWork overtime as assignedWork cooperatively with othersComply with all company policies and proceduresMaintain regular, punctual, and reliable physical attendanceWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit; lay on the floor; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. The employee may work in environments as cold as 20 degrees or as hot as 105 degrees. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.All tasks described in these Job Duties and Responsibilities are considered essential functions of this job.
