Perform direct nursing services such as administering treatments and assisting in assessments and evaluations. Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Delegate suitable components of the care plan to nursing assistants, providing guidance and supervision when necessary. Consult with and validate data. Record pertinent information in the patient record. Identify and evaluate the resident's response to health problems and treatments. Communicate residents' care needs to others involved in care. Assume responsibility for professional growth and development. Other duties as assigned by the director of nursing. Work as a leader: oversee and implement resident plans of care.
