Job Description:

Registered Nurse needed for the Progressive Care Unit, specializing in the care of adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, nephrology, strokes, and diabetes conditions. The RN will monitor patients with continuous EEG monitoring and titrate medications as required.

Responsibilities:

• Care for adults and geriatrics with various medical conditions including cardiac and nephrology.
• Administer and titrate medications such as Cardizem and betablockers.
• Work with a team to provide patient-centered care and handle a patient ratio of 1:4-5.
• Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as required.

Requirements:

• Valid RN license and submission of driver's license for compliance with radius rule.
• Certification in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Completion of a pass/fail exam during orientation requiring a 90% pass rate.
