Early Access: Your benefits start after day 1 Operate automatic and manual chemical process equipment of varying complexity in accordance w/ operating procedures, including programmable, logic control devices Follow specifications, job orders, work instructions, recipes and procedures to produce specific products according to our ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality system Perform complex liquid / chemical batch manufacturing, maintaining a familiarity with a variety of production machines Ability to work in C1D1 and C1D2 Explosion Proof environments, particularly within the context of hazardous material handling and solvent extraction Monitor and control process variables, such as temperature, pressure, and flow rates Route product samples for quality control inspection according to procedure Complete preventive maintenance on a regular, timely basis. Handle first-line troubleshooting such as equipment malfunctions, computer program issues, setting adjustments; involving appropriate other experts as needed. Comply with the Company's safety and environmental standards: Maintain a clean and organized work area Assure proper disposal of waste materials Contribute actively to safety improvement programs Comply with all Company policies including safety, operating procedures, quality, attendance and proper on the job conduct This position is shift work on a 12 hour Dupont Schedule, day-night rotation RequiredQualifications High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent Minimum of 1 year of Industrial Manufacturing experience Proven experience with C1D1 and C1D2 Explosion Proof environments, particularly within the context of hazardous material handling and solvent extraction Good written skills, proficient computer skills, and ability to work with MS Office tools are required Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects Continuous standing in one location for long periods (2-3 hours before break) Flexibility to work in shifts and handle occasional overtime as needed PreferredQualifications Good judgment, attention to detail, and manual dexterity are required Strong multi-tasking skills Deep understanding of chemical processes and equipment Solid communication, interpersonal, organizational, numerical, and analytical skills are required Excellent interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail Capability to prioritize time efficiently Our Differences make our Performance At Air Liquide, we are committed to build a diverse and inclusive workplace that embraces the diversity of our employees, our customers, patients, community stakeholders and cultures across the world.
