Job Title: Saw Operator
Location: Ada Ok

We are looking for a dependable and motivated Saw Operator to join our night shift production team. This position is responsible for operating saw equipment used to cut steel materials according to measurements. The ideal candidate is safety focused detail oriented mechanically inclined and able to work efficiently in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate saw equipment to cut steel materials according to work orders and specifications
• Measure and verify material dimensions to ensure accuracy and quality standards
• Read and interpret work orders cut lists and production schedules
• Lead position and secure materials safely for cutting operations
• Monitor equipment during operation and make adjustments as needed
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on saw equipment
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines
• Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding production needs or equipment concerns
• Assist with additional production tasks an assignment

Skills and Competencies:

• Ability to safely operate saw equipment and related machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when measuring and cutting materials
• Basic knowledge of material handling procedures and production workflow
• Ability to read and interpret work orders measurements and production specifications
• Commitment to workplace safety and following company policies and procedures
• Strong time management skills with the ability to maintain productivity throughout the shift
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to team production goals
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to identify basic equipment issues or maintenance needs
• Dependable attendance and reliability in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to lift move and handle materials safely and efficiently
• Effective communication skills with supervisors and team members
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing production needs and priorities

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing production or saw operation experience preferred
• Ability to read tape measures and perform accurate measurements
• Ability to work in a fast paced production environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing production needs
• Availability to work a Monday-Thursday 4:00 PM- 2:00 AM night shift schedule

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent standing walking bending and lifting throughout the shift
• Ability to safely push pull and position steel materials
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures
• Ability to safely climb step up/down from equipment and work around machinery
• Capable of maintaining productivity throughout a 10 hour shift
