Associate Director

A global institution is seeking an Associate Director to join its Prime Services team, covering sales and relationship management for hedge fund clients. This role sits at the intersection of the front office and hedge fund operations, acting as a key point of contact for operational, service, and commercial matters across an assigned client book. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day relationships with hedge fund clients, acting as the primary point of escalation for operational and service-related issues Face off to hedge fund COOs, operations, and middle-office teams to resolve trade settlement, financing, margin, and reporting queries Partner with internal stakeholders across trading, financing, technology, and client onboarding to ensure seamless client service delivery Identify opportunities to deepen wallet share and cross-sell prime services products (financing, securities lending, synthetics, capital introduction) Support new client onboarding, including documentation, credit, and legal coordination Monitor client profitability and usage of prime services products, feeding back into commercial strategy Stay current on regulatory developments impacting hedge fund operations and prime brokerage Prepare client reviews, service scorecards, and commercial proposals Candidate Profile 5-8 years of experience in prime services, prime brokerage, or hedge fund operations Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, settlements, margin/financing, and securities lending Proven ability to manage relationships with hedge fund operations and COO functions Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable interacting with senior clients Commercially minded, with an interest in growing revenue and identifying cross-sell opportunities What's on Offer Exposure to a broad range of hedge fund clients across strategies (equity long/short, multi-strat, macro, quant) Platform to grow into a broader sales or senior relationship management role Competitive base + bonus structure in line with global institution pay scales #J-18808-Ljbffr
