Analyst, Broker Channel Optimization

About the Role

PURE Insurance is seeking a highly analytical and business-minded Analyst, Broker Channel Optimization to support the growth and effectiveness of our broker distribution channel.

This role will partner closely with Distribution, Field Sales Leadership, Underwriting, and Analytics teams to identify growth opportunities, optimize broker engagement strategies, and provide actionable insights that improve business performance.

The ideal candidate enjoys solving business problems with data, can translate insights into recommendations, and is passionate about helping sales organizations operate more effectively. This role will report to the Director of Broker Strategy and Experience and play a key role in supporting PURE's distribution strategy and growth objectives.

What You'll Do

• Analyze broker, office, territory, and producer performance to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Support broker channel optimization initiatives by evaluating market opportunities, broker engagement, and distribution footprint.
• Build and maintain reporting, dashboards, scorecards, and business insights that help leaders make informed decisions.
• Conduct broker portfolio analysis to identify opportunities for increased growth, engagement, and share of wallet.
• Partner with field sales leaders to monitor pipeline health, conversion trends, and business development activity.
• Support broker segmentation efforts and help evaluate differentiated growth strategies across broker populations.
• Measure the effectiveness of distribution initiatives, programs, and strategic investments.
• Develop analytical recommendations that help improve sales productivity and broker performance.
• Collaborate with technology, analytics, and business teams to improve data quality, reporting capabilities, and self-service insights.
• Prepare presentations and executive-ready materials that communicate findings, trends, and recommendations.
• Perform ad hoc analyses to answer business questions and support strategic decision-making.
• Document metrics, methodologies, and reporting standards to ensure consistency and transparency.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 1+ years of professional experience in data analytics, business analytics, insurance, financial services, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience using Excel and data visualization tools to analyze and present information.
• Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Hex, or similar reporting and analytics tools.
• Ability to synthesize large amounts of data into clear business insights and recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively across teams.
• Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to understand how distribution and sales organizations drive growth.
• Experience in insurance, financial services, sales analytics, or distribution strategy is a plus.

After the first year, this individual will:

• Help the organization identify where growth opportunities exist across the broker channel.
• Provide insights that improve the effectiveness of broker engagement and sales strategies.
• Deliver reporting and analytics that allow leaders to make faster, better decisions.
• Support channel optimization efforts that strengthen PURE's position within key broker relationships.
• Become a trusted resource for understanding broker performance, distribution trends, and business opportunities.

The base salary for this role can range from $55,000 to $75,000 based on a full-time work schedule. An individual’s ultimate compensation will vary depending on job-related skills and experience, geographic location, alignment with market data, and equity among other team members with comparable experience.
