Road Driver Associate (Overnight Shift) – For New CDL Graduates Central Transport is a national, technologically advanced LTL carrier with a growing network of terminals across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Responsibilities Operate and drive various types of vehicles, including but not limited to dry vans and forklifts. Safely transport goods and materials to designated locations. Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient delivery. Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts. Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption. Requirements Recent graduate from an accredited tractor‑trail driving school. Certificate of completion, transcripts, and a letter of recommendation from the driving school. DOT physical and a long‑form application of five pages. Clean driving record. Strong attention to detail and time‑management skills. Skills Proficiency in heavy equipment operation, including forklifts and other machinery. Excellent driving skills and the ability to handle various types of cargo, including freight and hazardous materials.
