Medical Assistant
Location: Berea, KY
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 5 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: 40 Hours/Week
Local Candidates: Accepted
Traveler Candidates: Accepted
Pay Rate: $22–$24/hr
Note: This job doesn't offer any benefits.
Schedule:
Monday–Wednesday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
Responsibilities:
Greet and room patients.
Schedule appointments and answer patient inquiries.
Obtain and document vital signs.
Perform blood draws and venipuncture.
Administer vaccines as directed.
Perform EKGs and POC testing.
Maintain accurate patient documentation in the EMR.
Provide clinical and administrative support.
Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
Support health education and outreach activities.
Follow established clinical and workplace procedures.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience , excluding externship.
Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred.
Phlebotomy/Venipuncture experience required.
EMR experience required.
Strong communication, patient-service, and computer skills.
Strong attention to detail.
BLS or CPR required. Candidates without either may start pending approval.
