Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12 Hour Nights

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience
• Active Illinois Nursing License
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification (must obtain within 30 days of start)
• Skills Checklist relevant to Intensive Care Unit, current to 1 year
• Completed 2 Supervisory Reference Forms with employment dates

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' physical and psychosocial status using age-specific data and comprehensive evaluation techniques.
• Demonstrate accurate assessment skills appropriate to age.
• Conduct ongoing assessments and document findings in accordance with organizational standards.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary care planning to identify and clarify patient needs for optimal outcomes.
• Assist team members in patient care delivery as needed.
• Facilitate patient teaching and discharge planning to promote favorable health outcomes.
