EHS ManagerThe EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) Manager will provide leadership and support for the EHS programs at JCB North America Headquarters. The anticipated application window will close on September 30, 2026.Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key AccountabilitiesEnsures compliance with OSHA requirements and JCB's health and safety program requirements.Serves as lead for specific safety programs to implement and sustain requirements and training.Integrates continuous improvements in safety systems and helps drive employee engagement to achieve desired results.Collaborates with JCB employees to identify and implement improvements driving overall reduction in hazards through the use of programs such as Safe Work Observations, Hazard Recognition and Ergonomic EvaluationsConduct EHS related inspections and audits, generate reports and communicate findings.Provide day-to-day technical safety and health advice and consultation to employees and contractorsDemonstrate the ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with all levels of management, peers, and employeesWork closely with all department managers and employees to drive, build and sustain a healthy safety cultureWork and communicate with injured employees, medical professionals, claims staff and others to obtain the necessary information to ensure best interest of employees and the company are metManage the development, implementation, and delivery of EHS related training programs, including new hire and refresher training for all employees as neededServe as incident commander during fire and/or medical emergency responsesOther duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Environmental or Safety related field or equivalent5-7+ years EHS related experience in general industry manufacturing environments with direct exposure to environmental and/or health and safety fieldMust pass any drug screens, background checks, and any pre-employment tests, which will be conducted in accordance with applicable law.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in occupational health and safety5 years' experience in manufacturing operationsEnvironmental certificationsAdvanced knowledge of fire protections systemsKnowledge, Skills, Abilities & CompetenciesStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work in a high-stress environment.Detail-oriented and able to work independently.Collaborative approach to resolving issues impacting various groups across the enterprise.Ability to understand processes (system and non-system), troubleshoot, develop, and recommend solutions.Enjoy working in a dynamic environment and be a self-motivated team player.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Microsoft Project.Job ConditionsManufacturing/factory environment.Subject to noise and temperature changes.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
