This full-time opportunity is situated near Monroe, WI, focusing on grades 9 through 12 within a cross-categorical program. You will manage a diverse caseload of 10-12 students, each with unique learning needs, and help foster an inclusive and supportive environment that empowers every learner to thrive.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Must possess a valid Wisconsin Special Education (SPED) Licensure.
• Proven experience or background in Special Education at the high school level.
• Ability to work effectively with students in a cross-categorical setting.
• Flexibility and adaptability in managing a dynamic classroom environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with colleagues, families, and support staff.
• Commitment to individualized education plan (IEP) development and implementation.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with a range of exceptionalities, focusing on promoting independence and academic achievement.
• Develop, adapt, and implement lesson plans tailored to students' varying abilities and goals.
• Monitor student progress, document observations, and update individual education programs as needed.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure accommodations and modifications are effectively in place.
• Engage regularly with families to foster ongoing communication about student growth and needs.
• Promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom culture.
