Service Technician in Elkton

Job Summary We are looking for a Service Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong service technician background and ASE certified. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done. Benefits Competitive Pay- $18.00 - $35.00 hourly pay. This is a flat-rate position hourly rate pending on experience, will consider hourly non-flat rate tech. Full Benefits Package – Medical, Dental, Vision, matching 401k, and Life Insurance, cancer, accident, hospital and critical illness Opportunities for growth Paid vacation 15 days depending on years of service 5 days of sick leave Paid leave up to 6 holidays Up to 3 days of bereavement leave Employee assistance program; and unpaid personal leaves absence (in limited circumstances) Employee discount program Friendly work environment Responsibilities Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications Qualifications 2+ years of Service Technician experience High school diploma or equivalent, B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve Enjoy working in a dynamic environment Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications Valid driver's license and clean driving record We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment withoutregard to , , , , , , status, genetics, protectedveteran status, , or expression, or any other characterstheft by federal, state or local laws. #J-18808-Ljbffr Energy Jobline ZR
