Role Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) manages and directs nursing care in the cath lab and interventional radiology areas, providing essential patient assessments, care planning, implementation, and evaluation. Key Responsibilities Performs comprehensive assessments, develops individualized care plans, coordinates and administers nursing interventions, and documents patient responses. Provides education, collaborates with healthcare team, and ensures safety and infection control standards. Delivers service excellence through courteous communication, maintains confidentiality, and promotes quality improvement initiatives. Offers age-appropriate and specialized care, including pain management, abuse assessment, and high-risk patient support. Qualifications & Skills Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, valid RN licensure, and a minimum of one year medical-surgical experience. Certification in BLS and ALS is mandatory. Demonstrates strong assessment, clinical, communication, and teamwork skills. Must adhere to safety protocols, handle emergencies, and maintain professional accountability. Physical & Work Conditions Involves prolonged standing, lifting, and exposure to hazards like bloodborne pathogens. Must work in variable shifts, handle emergencies, and maintain alertness in a fast-paced environment.
