Registered Nurse Operating Room

Experience in circulating and scrubbing in most surgical service lines is essential. The unit has one suite with four operating rooms. Common cases include total joints and ENT. Additional service lines may include urology, podiatry, hand-orthopedics, plastics, and pacemakers. There will be no night, weekend, holiday, or call requirements. Staff will be required to stay late if cases are not completed during scheduled shifts. Surgical scrubs will be provided, and specific attire requirements include dedicated shoes for the operating room, as well as hats and masks. The schedule will rotate every 2-4 weeks with two different shift times. The charting system used will be Epic. Dedicated house supervisors will be scheduled 24 hours per day, and a charge nurse will be present when surgeries are conducted. The environment is acute care focused.
