West Central Behavioral Health

Description

About the opportunity

West Central Behavioral Health (WCBH) is a CCBHC-designated nonprofit community mental health center serving the Upper Valley and surrounding region of New Hampshire. Our mission is to provide accessible, high-quality behavioral health care to individuals and families - and the finance team is a critical partner in making that possible.

We're looking for a Director of Finance to lead all aspects of accounting and financial operations. What you'll own

Monthly close & reporting - lead the full close cycle with internal statements published by the tenth business day; present revenue and expense analysis to agency leadership.

Audit & compliance - manage the annual external audit, Form 990 preparation, and all grant and regulatory financial reporting (NH DHHS, NHFA, NEAH, and others).

Internal controls - maintain and strengthen the agency's internal control framework; identify risks and surface solutions proactively.

Team leadership - supervise, develop, and evaluate Finance Department staff; ensure cross-training for operational continuity; oversee payroll processing.

Budget & planning - lead development of expense schedules and financial inputs for the annual operating budget in partnership with the CFAO.
