Clinical Laboratory Technologist – High Complexity (Full Time – On Site) Midwest Express Clinic is an independent, multi‑location urgent care clinic that focuses on quality patient care. We are seeking a qualified Clinical Laboratory Technologist for our new in‑house laboratory in Crown Point, Indiana. About this position Midwest Express Clinic is looking for a Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join a team that values its employees. This full‑time onsite position offers an opportunity to grow in molecular laboratory work. Responsibilities Basic job duties include: Processing patient samples and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Monitoring lab testing for accuracy and contributing to quality control and improvement efforts. Maintaining laboratory equipment and overseeing the ordering of lab supplies. Salary Information Information not provided. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or a related field. Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a high‑complexity clinical laboratory setting preferred. Proficient knowledge of laboratory safety and quality assurance procedures. Strong understanding of laboratory equipment, techniques, and procedures. Preferred background in molecular laboratory techniques. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing laboratory tests. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and other relevant software. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed. Located within commuting distance to the laboratory. Preferred ASCP certification or equivalent.
