Restaurant Server

We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and dependable professional to join our team and deliver an exceptional dining experience for every guest. In this role, you will help create a welcoming atmosphere, provide timely and accurate service, and contribute to a positive and efficient restaurant environment. We offer competitive hourly base pay plus tips.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and make them feel welcome from the moment they arrive.
• Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and offer recommendations when appropriate.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
• Deliver meals and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring order accuracy.
• Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address concerns professionally.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to support smooth and efficient service.
• Process guest payments accurately and handle cash, credit card, and digital transactions responsibly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service area before, during, and after shifts.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant policies and procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, side work, and other team tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred, but not always required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and composed.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic math skills and the ability to accurately handle transactions.
• Willingness to learn menu details, service standards, and point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays or plates for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak dining hours as needed.
