TravelNurseSource is working with TalentBurst, Inc. to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Green Bay, Wisconsin, 54301!

Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Location:  Green Bay Wisconsin 54311

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 12hr Night Shift (36)

Shift Information: 7:00-pm-7:30 am

Clinical Interviewing- Yes

On Call, Call Back Requirements:  On call

Weekend Rotation:  Every other weekend

Holiday Requirements:  Every other holiday

Floating Requirements : None

About Facility

• Level II Trauma Center
• Level III NICU
• Level III Maternity
• Primary Stroke Center
• Beds: 167

General Information:

• Average 120 births/month
• Beds: 23

Experience: minimum 2 years of LDRP (4 years experience most preferred)
First-time traveler: Yes

Patient Types:

• All gestational ages, no GYNE surgeries, antepartum, mother-baby, labor and delivery.

Patient Ratios:

• 1:1 active labor, 1:2 – laboring, 1:3-4 couplets

Required Certifications:

• RN: BLS, NRP, FHM

Skills required:

• Level 3 OB experience, labor experience most preferred , circulate c sections preferred, LDRP experience, FHM.

Support on the Unit:

• Charge nurse – rarely takes a patient load
• Tech: 2 for the whole floor
• Nurse – draw labs
• OB available 24/7.
• Anesthesia in house
• Lactation RN during day shift

Charting System/Equipment:

• EPIC
• Alaris
• Pyxis
• Monitors: Nurse station & bedside – FHM
• Telemetry

Orientation:

• General hospital orientation
• 1 shift on the unit with a preceptor (on hired shift)

Scheduling:

• Weekend rotation: every other weekend
• Floating: travelers float first – Gyn/mother-baby overflow
• No Call
• Can we approve time off: Up to 7 days
• Every 6 weeks cycle, you will receive the schedule atleast 2 weeks before it begins.
