Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) credential; eligible to practice in Missouri
- Prior cardiovascular surgery (CV) experience required
- Available for a 13-week travel assignment (04/22/2026–07/22/2026)
- Able to work day shift schedule (07:00–17:00), 40 hours/week

Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative and postoperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgery patients, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation of patient status
- Manage invasive lines and hemodynamic monitoring, and respond to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, blood products, and treatments per orders and established protocols
- Coordinate care with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary team members to support surgical flow and patient recovery
- Educate patients and families regarding postoperative care and discharge planning; maintain accurate electronic medical records

Short-term travel RN opportunity for a cardiovascular surgery unit in Kansas City, MO.
