Surgical Account Manager - Santa Barbara

Medtronic seeks a Surgical Account Manager for the Santa Barbara territory to drive demand across surgical product portfolios including stapling, energy, and electrosurgery solutions. The remote position requires regional travel and focuses on developing strategic sales plans, managing key customer relationships, and expanding market adoption across hospital accounts.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary account contact and coordinate across District Managers, Sales Directors, and specialized portfolio teams
- Develop and execute contractual strategies to optimize surgical product contracts and drive category expansion
- Conduct quarterly Customer Business Reviews to assess performance and identify growth opportunities
- Drive adoption and utilization of full Surgical Center of Technology product portfolio across assigned accounts
- Cultivate relationships with distribution partners and leverage account intelligence to increase market share
Requirements
- High school diploma plus 6+ years relevant sales or clinical experience in medical devices or healthcare
- OR Associate's degree plus 4+ years relevant experience
- OR Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years relevant experience
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout assigned territory
- CRM software proficiency (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Strong understanding of clinical environments and surgical decision-making processes
