Mailroom Associate/Backup Driver – Phoenix, AZ Location: Phoenix, AZ Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Pay: $18/hour Role Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Mailroom Associate to support daily mailroom, document processing, and delivery operations. This role is responsible for sorting, opening, organizing, preparing, scanning, and processing incoming and outgoing mail and documents with accuracy and efficiency. The position also serves as a backup driver to support the transportation and delivery of mail, documents, equipment, and supplies as needed. A strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to operational excellence and customer service are essential. Key Responsibilities Learn about different types of healthcare documents and how to operate mailroom equipment. Open mail, identify document types, and group documents together. Hand off documents to the scan team – may require standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 30–50 pounds. Learn the driving route to act as a backup driver when needed. Train with Branch Manager to act as lead when necessary. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. At least 1 year of experience in mailroom, clerical, office support, document processing, or related work. Experience with mail sorting, document prep, scanning, imaging, or shipping/receiving is preferred. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time management skills. Basic data entry skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 30–50 pounds (e.g., banker’s boxes). What We Offer Paid training.
