Job Details Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours (days) Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians) Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, and comply within respective state Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care Understand adaptive equipment Evaluate and create a plan of care Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines Qualifications Minimum 6 months of experience; new graduates encouraged (1 year typical, 6 months acceptable for exceptional candidates) BLS certification State-specific licensing Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology Additional certifications may be required before the assignment Compensation Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, subject to confirmation.
