Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HVAC & Plumbing Service Technician to join our warranty repair and commissioning service team in New York City.

The technician will be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and starting up HVAC and heating systems. The ideal candidate should be professional, reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage time effectively to ensure service calls are completed accurately and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC and heating systems.
• Perform warranty repairs and commissioning services.
• Complete all work professionally, accurately, and within the scheduled timeframe.
• Manage daily service calls and prioritize work efficiently.
• Communicate with the scheduling team regarding job priorities and requirements.
• Ensure the appropriate tools, equipment, parts, and products are loaded and available in the service vehicle.
• Identify system issues and determine appropriate repair or service solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed work and service activities.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and company standards.
• Provide professional customer service at job sites.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an HVAC Service Technician or similar role.
• Experience with HVAC and heating system service, repair, and start-up.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple service calls and prioritize tasks.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• HVAC certifications or licenses are a plus.
