Locums Princeton, West Virginia, Urgent Care NP/PA Job

Locum tenens opportunity
Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Start date: November 2, 2026
Estimated 20 shifts per month
No call
Minimum experience required: 2 years in urgent care, or 1 year in emergency medicine
Must be comfortable treating all ages, including pediatric patients ages 6 months and older
Patient population: approximately 80% adults and 20% pediatrics
Average volume: 34 patients per hour
Must be comfortable with splinting, orthopedic injuries, and wound care
Typical presentations include cold/flu symptoms, rashes, abrasions, sprains, and minor burns
High-acuity patients are referred to the local emergency department
Must be willing to travel between Princeton, Beckley Harper Road, and Beckley Crossing
Must be comfortable working independently, including solo coverage
Sites are staffed with 13 providers per day
A physician is available remotely for escalation when no physician is onsite
Medical assistants and radiology technologists onsite
