Culinary Services Cook $16 - $18/hour Location: Highland Lakes, Palm Harbor, FL Why Join Us? Culture of compassion : Help us make a positive impact on every life we touch Competitive Pay : $16 - $18/hour + credit for experience Schedule : Full-Time Saturday - Tuesday 10:30am - 6:30pm and Wednesday 6:00am - 2:00pm Investing in You : Enjoy a comprehensive, quality benefits package Supportive Team : We value our team members just as much as the people we serve What You'll Do As a Cook at St. Mark Village, you are responsible for preparing daily meals and special event menus in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment Collaborate with the culinary team in food production, menu planning, and the preparation of baked goods, sauces, soups, and other meals from scratch Ensure food safety and sanitation protocols are followed, including maintaining a clean kitchen environment Oversee the proper presentation of meals, supervise and mentor culinary associates, and ensure accurate, consistent, and timely food production What you will need Chef/cook certification or a minimum of 3 years of quantity cooking experience in lieu of a degree or certification (required) Experience in hands‑on quantity cooking in full‑menu environments (required) Senior living or healthcare kitchen experience strongly preferred Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to speak effectively before groups of Residents or team members Must be at least 18 years of age or older Benefits for Qualified Employees Medical Dental Vision HSA Short and Long‑term Disability Voluntary Life & AD&D Insurance Employee Assistance Program To apply, please complete the required questionnaire.
