Phlebotomist – Rochelle Park, NJ Join Labcorp, a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions. The position is located in Rochelle Park, NJ. Work Schedule: Monday 9:00am–5:00pm; Tuesday 9:00am–5:00pm; Wednesday 11:00am–7:00pm; Thursday 9:00am–5:00pm; Friday 7:00am–3:00pm. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient data accurately and promptly. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Two (2) or more years of experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications Two and a half (2.5) years or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency if work experience is not available. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Pay Range $17.75 – $24.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Benefits Comprehensive benefits for employees scheduled 20 or more hours per week, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), PTO / FTO, Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. 401(k) participation for employees scheduled less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary roles.
