As an Access Control Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor site access, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat07:00 AM - 07:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 07:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location. Monitor and control access at entry points by verifying credentials, issuing visitor or contractor passes, maintaining access logs, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas. Respond to access-control concerns, alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unauthorized access or unusual conditions. Maintain accurate activity, visitor, incident, and access-control documentation while communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Have at least one year of security-related experience. Possess a TSA-issued TWIC. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
