Work Environment\n

This remote position allows you the flexibility to manage your work from home, ensuring a balanced work-life structure while being part of a collaborative and supportive team composed of mental health professionals. While the standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be necessary to respond to the unique needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Perform comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's history and formulate effective treatment strategies.

  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to the needs of trauma-affected clients, aimed at facilitating recovery and enhancing resilience.
  • \n
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to promote healing.

  • Provide both individual and group therapy, enabling clients to process their experiences and cultivate coping mechanisms.
  • \n
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a well-integrated approach to patient care.
  • \n
  • Assist in crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, offering immediate and effective support.
  • \n
  • Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping strategies, enhancing their understanding and resilience.
  • \n
  • Maintain precise and confidential patient documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • \n
  • Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to the development of shared knowledge in trauma-informed care.

  • Continuously seek professional development by staying informed about the latest research and treatment methodologies in the field of trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will cater primarily to individuals grappling with the aftermath of trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our tailored approach seeks to empower clients on their healing journey, addressing various challenges that arise from their experiences.

Qualifications\n

  • Education: A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • \n
  • Licensure: Current and valid LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license in the state of Colorado.
  • \n
  • Experience: A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, specifically in the realm of trauma-informed care.
  • \n
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and effective treatment modalities.
  • \n
  • Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a compassionate and constructive therapeutic environment.
  • \n
  • UIE: Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems as well as modern technology applications relevant to patient management.
  • \n
  • Teamwork: Proven ability to cooperate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

  • Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies.

  • Demonstrable success in managing high-stress situations with poise.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
