Lumberyard Forklift Operator

Job Description
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Lumberyard Forklift Operator/Receiving Associate to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklift safely and efficiently, receiving, inspecting, storing, moving materials, pulling lumber and loading and unloading trucks.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
6:00am to 4:30pm
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour (based on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Verify product quantities and condition against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Operate sit-down forklifts safely.
- Move materials to designated storage locations.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
Requirements:
- Previous receiving and forklift experience required.
- Forklift certification is a plus, not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer and inventory management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
