Job Title: Printed Circuit Board Designer
Location: Northridge, CA, 91325
Summary:- Seeking an experienced PCB Designer with strong Altium Designer skills and experience designing high-density multilayer, flex, and rigid-flex PCBs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform schematic capture, PCB layout, component placement, and routing.
- Design RF/high-speed circuits with impedance control, length matching, and crosstalk mitigation.
- Create and manage component footprints, models, and libraries.
- Develop layer stackups and perform 3D mechanical clearance checks.
- Generate Gerber, ODB++, fabrication, and assembly files/drawings.
- Support DFM activities and resolve manufacturing technical queries.
- Ensure designs comply with IPC and applicable ASME/ANSI standards .
- Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost, and performance.
Required Skills
- Strong Altium Designer experience, including schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Experience with Altium 365 and/or OrCAD.
- Knowledge of high-speed, RF, multilayer, flex/rigid-flex PCB design.
- Understanding of PCB manufacturing and DFM processes.
- Experience with Class 3 medical products or wearable electronics is a plus.
