Position Overview

We invite skilled and compassionate Ultrasound / Sonography Technologists to join our expanding imaging team, united in delivering outstanding patient care. In this role, you will operate advanced ultrasound technology to execute diagnostic procedures, collaborating harmoniously with a supportive group of healthcare providers while offering peace of mind to patients with your precise and timely imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts studies
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during examinations, effectively explaining each procedure with empathy
• Work in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver top-notch diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing malfunctions
• Document procedures with accuracy while maintaining patient records within the electronic medical records system
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or analogous
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
