Location: Dayton, Ohio

Setting: Pediatric Acute Care Hospital

Employment Type: Self Scheduling (PRN)

Primary Units: OR (Peds)

Pay Rate: $48-52 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: PRN with flexible scheduling

Shift Availability: Varies

Start Date: As soon as credentialing is completed

Employment Status: W2 Employee

Requirements

Minimum 2-year RN experience in OR (Peds)

Ohio RN License required

BSN degree required or in progress
Must have 2 years of Peds Experience

Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills

Current BLS certification required

ACLS certification required

PALS certification preferred

Ability to pass background screening and onboarding requirements

CNOR highly preferred

Prior pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery and laser experience a plus

Responsibilities

The OR Registered Nurse provides nursing care to our pediatric patients within the operating room, performs assessments and interventions designed to keep the patients safe during surgery.

Assists the physician in accomplishing the plan of care for the patient and provides continuity between the patient care unit and the Operating Room.
