Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain API automation frameworks and test scripts.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of REST and SOAP APIs.
• Validate API requests, responses, status codes, payloads, headers, authentication, and data integrity.
• Develop automated test suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Create and execute test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Analyze API specifications (Swagger/OpenAPI) and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Perform database validation and backend data verification using SQL queries.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Generate test execution reports and quality metrics.
