In this role, you will be an integral part of our clinical care team, providing both direct patient care and essential administrative support to ensure smooth, efficient operations.Clinical Duties (Patient Care):Patient Intake: Greet patients, escort them to exam rooms, interview them for the reason for their visit, and take accurate medical histories.Vitals & Measurements: Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight, and height.Exam Assistance: Assist physicians or nurses during examinations and procedures.Clinical Procedures: Prepare and administer medications and injections under supervision.Patient Education: Educate patients on treatment plans, medication instructions, and follow-up care as directed by the provider.EHR Management: Accurately update and maintain patient records in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.Scheduling: Schedule patient appointments and coordinate hospital admissions or specialist referrals.Communication: Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and relay messages to providers.Inventory: Monitor and restock medical supplies and exam rooms.Compliance: Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations and safety protocols.Required Qualifications & SkillsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent.Training: Completion of an accredited medical assistant program.Certification: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or similar preferred credential (CCMA).Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a clinical or fast-paced medical office setting (preferred).Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.Technical Skills: Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) software and general office technology.Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with an empathetic, patient-focused approach.Organization: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a high-demand environment.Job Type: Full-timeMonday through Friday Day ShiftBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insurance6 Paid HolidaysSTD and LTDWork Location: In person
