Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Production Painter! We're looking for a detail-oriented craftsperson who takes pride in delivering high-quality finishes across a variety of materials. If you enjoy working with your hands, have a strong eye for detail, and thrive in a collaborative environment, this role is for you. What You'll Do
- Paint, stain, and clear-coat wood, plastic, vinyl, and specialty materials using spray equipment
- Maintain paint room cleanliness and equipment functionality
- Read and interpret engineered shop drawings
- Order and manage paint supplies in coordination with the Estimator
- Innovate cost-effective application techniques for diverse materials
- Occasionally assist other departments and participate in on-site installations (travel up to 6 times/year)
- Expertise in spray painting, staining, and finishing techniques
- Valid Utah driver's license and clean driving record
- DOT medical card (can be obtained post-hire)
- Familiarity with manufacturing tools, materials, and project management software
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of craftsmanship
- Manage daily painting tasks and inventory
- Track project progress and communicate updates
- Recommend improvements and ensure quality outcomes
- Keep workspaces clean and organized
- Collaborate with team members and attend project meetings
- Support planning and execution of partner projects
- Continuously grow your skills through training and cross-departmental work
- Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
- Alternate schedules may be approved by the Manufacturing Director Respectful, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to integrity
