You will source and evaluate investments, guide strategic initiatives, and connect insights from the AI ecosystem to executive decision-making. It is both analytical and highly collaborative, requiring strong judgment, technical fluency, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.**Responsibilities:*** Source and evaluate venture investments across Seed, Series A, and Series B, owning deal flow through diligence and execution* Drive alignment and execution of AI/ML initiatives across the company, including Generative AI and physical AI* Maintain relationships with portfolio companies and ensure alignment with Micron's investment strategy* Develop executive-level briefings and recommendations for leadership, the Board, and the Investment Committee* Mentor team members and partner cross-functionally with business and technology stakeholders**Minimum Qualifications:*** Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or related field and MBA from a Tier 1 university* Experience in venture capital, startups, or senior operating roles, including deal sourcing and investment processes* Strong financial acumen with technical depth in at least one relevant AI or semiconductor-related domain* Experience influencing senior stakeholders and delivering clear, data-backed recommendations* Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with competing priorities**Preferred Qualifications:*** Experience in the Bay Area/Silicon Valley venture ecosystem* Background in data center hardware systems and/or data center software* Experience at a Tier 1 consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG)* Domain expertise in areas such as physical AI, autonomous vehicles, manufacturing, or data center systems/software* International education or work experience and exposure to global business environmentsStrong communities and education are vital to the success of both society and innovative companies.
