Tax and Audit Associate

Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of tax returns Perform audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services Gain experience, exposure, and knowledge of procedures, workpapers, and systems Support multiple client engagements on time and within budget Identify issues and communicate progress Expand industry knowledge through exposure to peers, clients, and formal training opportunities Complete research and special projects as needed Communicate regularly with clients and CLA family members Requirements Bachelor’s degree required Degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred Eligible to sit for the CPA exam per state requirements General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data Willingness to learn new technologies Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products Reliable transportation Willingness to travel to client sites Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in preparing various tax returns and performing assurance services while effectively managing client engagements and communicating progress.
